Design concept

A one-week design sprint that turns a vague idea into concrete screens you can react to, test and fund.

What this service entails

See it before you commit to it

Instead of guessing, we spend one focused week exploring two or three visual directions for your key screens. You finish with a tested concept and a clear build estimate — or the confidence to pivot early.

Concept week: three directions for the same screens, tested with five users.

What's included

  • Kickoff session to pick the three screens that matter most.
  • Two to three distinct visual directions for those screens.
  • Clickable prototype plus a five-user feedback round with notes.
  • Recommendation report: which direction won and why.
  • Fixed build estimate so the full project holds no surprises.

How we work

Monday — frame. We pick screens and success criteria. Tuesday–Wednesday — explore. I design divergent directions in the open, sharing progress daily. Thursday — test. Real users try the prototype while you watch. Friday — decide. You get the report, the files and the estimate.

Questions

What if none of the directions feel right?+

That almost never happens, because we frame the week tightly. If it does, the week still pays for itself: you'll know exactly what to avoid before spending a full budget.

Can the concept roll into a full build?+

That's the idea. The concept fee is credited toward the full project when you continue with me within three months.

Who owns the files?+

You do — all source files, the prototype and the test notes are yours to keep, even if you build elsewhere.
